Yes I did dwell in a heaven, nestled in the lap of nature so

No allies slaughtered my trust; no brandishing swords of foe

A dark night that caste the gloom of betrayal hung there crying foul

Love, brotherhood, blood bond pleas fell dead to the deafened soul

No promises of return, no tearful goodbyes but just a door ajar

That appeared open to another world nearby, yet so very far

Moments turned days, days turned years, frozen indisposed time

Once yet I knock at the door of hope; waiting to be reborn…… in my mother’s womb
