Yes I did dwell in a heaven, nestled in the lap of nature so
No allies slaughtered my trust; no brandishing swords of foe
A dark night that caste the gloom of betrayal hung there crying foul
Love, brotherhood, blood bond pleas fell dead to the deafened soul
No promises of return, no tearful goodbyes but just a door ajar
That appeared open to another world nearby, yet so very far
Moments turned days, days turned years, frozen indisposed time
Once yet I knock at the door of hope; waiting to be reborn…… in my mother’s womb
