So strange this idyllic life
pain has a religion
blood has varied colours
free will not an option
but bonded decree of the cleric
gospel truth in false sermons
So restless this tranquil world
fanatics thrive on obsessivity
innocent slaughter their dreams
faith decides the ranks and breed
Yet legitimacy has no say
Sabotage the order of the day
So ordinary this wondrous nature
each moment a death is rejoiced
the living are all the same mourned
Nonetheless you and I say, we have fledged
Alas but with clipped wings!
